We have more then 50 million children age 12 and under in the United States the largest population of youth we have ever had in the history in this country over the last 20 years we have had a consistent increase in gang population. The increase in crime that you've been reading about in the newspapers is just the beginning of a long consistent increase that we will be seeing year after year. Keep in mind that we have been seeing second and third sometime forth generation gang members.

The Los Angeles Police department needs your help. The LAPD needs to be modernized with the type of equipment that will help them catch criminal in real time while capturing the crime on film for easy prosecution the technologies there but the money for funding not.

That's why I purpose the idea to BLEND to raise the money and fund the program from money we could raise through the community. We can't always wait for our elected officials to place the quality of our lives on the top of their agendas but we could do it ourselves.
